Win is our "What I Need" intervention/extension time. Students that are having trouble with content they are expected to master in second grade will receive small group instruction with other grade level peers during this time. Students that are not struggling with content will work on extending their knowledge and advancing their learning of concepts.
Students will also have access to the computer lab two days a week, once on Wednesdays as part of their reading workshop and once on Tuesday afternoon during our writer's workshop. They also have access to laptops, Chrome books and iPads within the classroom, as technology is integrated into many of our content areas.
